Featured in MVP Kids “Limit Laziness” book for children ages 4-10 years old, Annie and her favorite farm animals inspire children to get up and move around to get involved in fun productive pastimes. Now, you can practice the same fun exercises at home, too!
Join in on these fun exercises that will fill your body with energy to overcome laziness!
1. Clucker’s Circles
Lie on your back. Slide your arms and legs out so you look like a starfish. Then, slide your arms and legs back to where you started.
2. Soso’s Stretch
Lie on your stomach with your hands on the floor next to your ribs. Straighten your arms so only your chest lifts up. Take five deep breaths and then lower back down to the ground.
3. Thumper’s Hop
Get into a push-up position. Jump your feet to the outside of your hands. Then, jump your feet back so you return to a push-up position.
4. Toby’s Ladder Climb
Lift your right hand and left knee into the air. Then, switch to the other arm and leg like you are running up a ladder.
5. Tyson’s Jab
Stand with your knees apart and slightly bent. Alternate punching the air in front of you with your arms.
6. Coco’s Jump
Crouch down and then jump as high as you can. In the air, spread your legs apart and lift your hands so you look like a star. Land in the same crouching position you started.
