How to create your own little monster:
1. Begin by grabbing something for the body. It could be a cardboard tube, plastic cup, can, cereal box, whatever you have on hand.
2. Use your imagination to add features such as arms, legs, mouths, eyes, etc.
3. Decorate the outside of your little monster with how you think the monster is feeling on the inside. You might include different materials to reflect different feelings.
4. Use this fun activity to help children communicate what they are feeling. Helping children learn to recognize emotions and understand that emotions aren’t good or bad is the first step to teaching kids to manage their emotions.
