MVP Kids® Announces the Launch of a New Creative Team - MVP Kids Sport™!
MVP Kids is expanding its creative team to enhance its message of social and emotional learning using sports as a platform.
June 5, 2020 - Mesa, Arizona - MVP Kids is excited to announce the launch of a new creative team – MVK Kids Sport. The goal of the new Sport Series is to expand social and emotional learning into older children, utilizing the concepts of character development and strengthening mental resiliency through sports situations.
MVP Kids Sport is led by Betsy Cutler M.Ed., an athlete mental health advocate, educator, and researcher. The MVP Kids Sport team includes athletes and former athletes with a passion for developing character and strengthening mental health resilience through sport situations. The belief is there is a void to be filled by MVP Kids through sport-experienced, character-building opportunities.
“MVP Kids Sport is excited at the opportunity to build on the MVP Kids brand. SEL is the foundation of building Mental Health Resiliency,” commented Betsy Cutler. “Teaching youth how to grow through adversity is important. Our team hopes to use sport as a platform to further kids’ knowledge base and skill-set to effectively manage challenges.”

Eugene Hollloman, M.BA., speaker, author, and former two-time all-conference running back at James Madison University
Shelly Aguilar Carlin, former Chief HR Officer at Motorola and National Champion softball player at UCLA
Vanessa Moore, M.Ed./M.BA., former Georgetown basketball student-athlete focusing on ways to impact the experience of student-athletes
Cody Proveaux, former professional golfer, VCU golf coach, and mentor driving athletes to become well-rounded individuals
Jacob Newton, recently retired professional hockey player now promoting mental skills training and mental health resiliency for young athletes
"We are honored to be able to expand our Sophia Day® creative team to include high-character college and professional athletes passionate to share their lifelong experience with kids of all ages," stated Mel Sauder, President and Founder MVP Kids.
